There's so much to do with wool!

Claire, I did a post on how to make the hoop houses in October, 2008.
Here's a link:
http://riveroaksfarmstudioblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/cattle-panel-t-post-sheep-shelters.html
I'll also edit this post and include a hyperlink on the word hoop house. Cattle panel hoop houses are really inexpensive shelters to make and they hold up well to snow and wind. When we made the last two in summer of 2008 we used heavy duty tarps purchased at FleetFarm. They are still in good condition for this winter. The Shetland geese do the most damage, they love to pick at any loose strings or fibers. Of course when the tarps wear out you can just replace them.Becky Utechthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08664957352385337093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30562945.post-32795529065010973992009-11-08T17:37:25.151-06:002009-11-08T17:37:25.151-06:00The dyed grey BFL is really pretty. The dyed grey BFL is really pretty.Mary Wick-Morning Star Shetland Sheephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09161483805727215730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30562945.post-16037633317383088722009-11-06T16:20:57.188-06:002009-11-06T16:20:57.188-06:00Becky I love your hoop shelter! I would love to know what the tarp type of covering you have on it is. I have used tarps in various places here before but they always seem to get shredded in no time. Did you get a special kind?Claire MWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02603169881463831299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30562945.post-11467347455023764782009-11-06T11:30:04.022-06:002009-11-06T11:30:04.022-06:00Your batts are beautiful!
